Zo walked over to where Oyama split the wolf in 2, picked up his kaiken and sheathed it.
Hornets continued to buzz around the party.

The wolf survived Noburu's initial strike, taking the opportunity to strike back at the samurai as it lunged forward. Fortunately the wolf missed the young samurai, possibly due to it's wounds. Whatever the reason, Noburu used it to his advantage. Clutching his katana with both hands, the samurai sliced downwards across the back of the wolf in an attempt to end it's life.
roll: 10 + 5 = 15
damage: 7 + (3 * 1.5) = 12

The wolf that Nobu slashed through let loose a yelp before falling to the ground, motionless.
The final wolf awakened from its state of hypnosis to see the rest of its pack dead. It turned and ran into the woods, whimpering.
The rest of the mercenary group had also killed the wolves that attacked them. The leader sheathed his bloody sword and swatted a wasp away from his face. "We don't have time to skin them, let's keep moving, it's not far now." he ordered.

The party reached the small town as the sun began to hang low in the sky. It was clearly a farmer's town - pumpkin fields could be spotted all over.
A farmer timidly came to greet the group after telling his wife and children to go into their small house. Before he could say anything, the mercenary leader rudely told him they were here to meet a warlord. The farmer, genuinely confused, informed them there was no warlord here.
"God dammit." the leader cursed under his breath, "The prick could be late, and the sun will be setting soon so we might as well spend the night here. Point us to where we can stay, old man."
Nervously, the old farmer replied, "There's plenty of room in my barn, and I'll even feed all of you, but... I must ask something in return. Please, hornets have been plaguing us for weeks now. The forests are too dangerous for us to go searching for the nest, could you please help us?" he pleaded.
The leader contemplated a bit before looking over his shoulder at Nobu, Uji, Oyama, and Zo. "You 4, hop to."
"Yes, please. We can provide torches for you to burn the nest when you find it. We will forever be in your gratitude if you do this for us, please." the old farmer said with his hands clasped together.
